Building & Sharing Local Prosperity In The Region

A New Model For Economic Development

The Centre for Local Prosperity is a new non-profit organization located in Port Royal, Annapolis County, Nova Scotia, dedicated to promoting and inspiring practical blueprints for prosperous and healthy local economies.

On April 9-12, 2015 the Centre for Local Prosperity hosted the conference Local Prosperity: New Economics for a rural Canada. The conference was an enormous success with linkages continuing to be built between communities, based on the numerous ideas and projects described during the conference.

Future activities and events are being planned and will be announced as they are confirmed.
